Raquia:
It would be futile to speak of my initial quandary, for I cannot remember it myself. On the contrary, I think that I am emboldened by the mere thought of concatenating my experiences and sharing my journey to the world. I will not hesitate to mention that some things must remain furtive for safeguarding my personal agendas. I hope that you read my story, and my sober views vindicate my advises.
I was always a charming and intrepid slender women, walking tip top on every road of my city. I would do my house work, and mange my affairs without being querulous. My life took a spin only when I had my second child at the age of twenty, post which I weighed a hundred and forty pounds. I graduated from college a while later, and was on the hunt for a job. To my bad luck, I couldn't find one because of all the commotion that seemed to be an Achilles heel. I used to spend time eating sweets, junk food and extra meals(which I had no reason to consume, apart from the usual three meals I had everyday). Buckle up. I was a hundred and sixty pounds by age twenty two. In a miserable condition, I decided to take diet pills and join a gym. Here comes the happy part I guess. I managed to lose 20 pounds, and was back to the good old 140 pounds as before. But life isn't that easy, and so is maintaining weight. You will be astonished to know what happened next.
Once I got off the diet pills, I started gaining weight again. The side effects were highly detrimental to my body, and I had no going back and reversing what I had done. I started gaining weight again, and this time, it was incredulously bad. By age 25, I weighed 197 pounds.
It was only on the 24th of April 2015, that I looked at myself in the mirror and decided that I wanted a change; and needed it fast. I was resolved in an attempt to slim down, and slim down for good. I ran a small business at that time, and decided that I should create a product that could help shape and flatten my abdomen. I tested the product on myself, before I could let the public purchase it from my shop. I invested in a slimming belt and designed my own meal plan. I began running every morning, lifting weights and doing squats. I started eating healthier and feeling better. It was time. I started losing weight.
On an average, I started losing 10-12 pounds a month. Today, I stand at 119 pounds and am much fitter and stronger! It isn't too much to take care of thyself and maintain one's weight. It just needs patience and determination, which I seem to have mastered over the past year.
I must give you some tips on eating-Cut off on fizzy drinks, red meat, sweets, chips and sugary juices. Cardio, water, chicken, fish, fresh fruits and vegetables are the best food items to consume when trying to lose weight. Remember, do not consume cheese, even if you're having it with a salad. It may hinder your weight loss goals.
