Eline:
In the year 2009, fortunately one fine day, it struck my mind to buy a weighing scale. I was dumbfounded at the sight of my very own weight, and will not hesitate to declare it on this platform. With utmost uprightness, I weighed a 101.2 kilograms and clearly my agony seemed to have passed its threshold. Days would pass by at the blink of an eye and my pessimistic approach would exacerbate at a running speed. It was time. It was time for change.
Being cognizant about modifying my eating habits and substituting them with better alternatives, I began my journey. I got a referral to a dietitian and scampered through the avenue to meet her. I was ordered to undertake an eating schedule, which I got cracking immediately. For a girl who has never run nor played a sport in her life, I took it upon myself to run habitually. Mercifully, in no time, I had reduced around 10 kilograms and was on the verge of a drastic change in body shape. Buckle up for a miserable breakthrough in this so far so good story.
Weight loss had begun to slow down officially, and it became substantially impossible to circumvent it. Eating healthy meant obliterating the food I craved for from my daily meals, which seemed to give me cold feet. Fluctuation in weight seemed to be one of the chief byproducts of my journey. In the following years, I endeavored to discover the correct diet plans and workout routines to suit myself, and most importantly, my body. Doctor Dukan from Weight Care, South Beach prescribed diet schedules to serve my desideratum, but it only so happened to worsen my condition. Here comes another breakthrough in this grievous story. Earlier this year, I weighed 90 kilograms. This was definitely a reduction in weight by about a ten kilograms plus; but it had its own detrimental effects; which I do not wish to disclose.
I so happened to follow Kayla Intines a while ago on Instagram and her weight loss transformation left me bewildered and astonished. Watching her seemed to be incredulous, but somehow activated my sense of eagerness to lose weight. Here is where my story begins. I began to eat healthy; which clearly means not consuming any junk food. I reduced my intake of carbs, and replaced it with binge eating on vegetables and fruits. I adopted a new program, called as the BBG. This means that I had to have two to three RT's (RT refers to Resistance Training) to train my legs, arms and abs. In addition, I had to go for a walk three to four times per week, each lasting for a duration of forty five minutes. This schedule was highly reliable because I could exercise at home and did not need to go to the gym.
I would occasionally take out time from work (I'm working out straight after work) and put on my sportswear to begin my workout. After about a half an hour, I would do my RT and keep pushing myself to achieve more than I did the previous day. Also, I would go for hiking during lunch time and enjoy myself thoroughly. Through these small bits, I started losing weight and the cellulite started to fade off as I built muscle. I brought a FitBit in the interim, which reminds me to be active every hour, every minute and every second. In a matter of a mere few months, I have managed to bring my weight down to 72 kilograms, successfully having reduced 29 kilograms.
My suggestion for all of you is to never give up and do what works right for you. If working out means having fun, then do it. Take pictures constantly to keep yourself updated of progress. In the end, you will find yourself in the most beautiful position ever. Smile always and remember, beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
